I have strong analytical and writing skills and regularly prepare briefing material for management. In my current position I analyze information from a variety of sources and summarize it for senior staff, and I am known for producing clear and concise documents under tight deadlines.

Two more criteria, before and after.
Our sample shows two essential criteria on an invented Program Officer (PM-03) poster. These are the next two on the same poster: an essential criterion about briefing material, and an asset criterion the applicant only partly meets, answered honestly. The applicants, employers and numbers are invented; the structure is what we deliver for C$79. The checklist is the seven checks every answer passes.

Experience in analyzing information and preparing written briefing material for management: met. From April 2023 to February 2026, as Policy Analyst at the Lakeshore Regional Health Authority (Thunder Bay), I prepared written briefing material for the Director of Community Programs and, four times, for the CEO. I wrote 34 briefing notes over the period (two to four pages each) and 11 one-page decision summaries for the monthly leadership meeting. For each I pulled and reconciled data from the client database (about 9,000 records), the finance system and partner reports, and set out options with costs. Three of the notes led to recorded decisions: the 2024 extension of the mobile clinic (budget $212,000), the 2025 change to the referral form, and the closure of one under-used evening clinic. My director can confirm the count and the decisions; the notes are on file in the directorate’s records system.
I have experience with budgets and funding in my previous role, where I helped manage the department’s finances and worked on grant applications. I am comfortable with numbers and financial reporting.
Experience in managing a budget or administering grant or contribution funding: met in part. I have not managed a departmental budget. From June 2021 to March 2023, as Program Coordinator at the Northgate Youth Society (Edmonton), I administered two contribution agreements with a combined value of $146,500 a year (one provincial, one from a community foundation). I prepared the quarterly financial and activity reports both funders required (16 reports, all accepted without revision), tracked spending against the approved budget lines in the agency’s accounting system, and in 2022 requested and received approval for a $9,800 budget reallocation between two lines when a staff vacancy left training funds unspent. I did not hold signing authority; the executive director signed, and can confirm the reports and the reallocation.
What changed, and why it screens in
Each rewrite opens with the criterion in the poster’s words and the word “met” (or “met in part”, when that is the truth). Each gives both ends of the dates, the employer and the place, so the screener can count the months. Each uses first person and numbers: 34 briefing notes, $146,500 a year, 16 reports. Each ends with the result and the person who can confirm it. The asset answer admits what the applicant has not done, and still earns the part that is true; an honest “met in part” beats a blank and beats a claim that a reference check would undo.
Questions
What applicants ask us
Are these real posters and applicants?
No. The poster (Program Officer, PM-03, in an invented department) and both applicants are made up and labelled as samples. We never publish a customer’s answer and never invent experience for one; every answer we deliver is built only from the résumé and notes the applicant sends.
What does “met in part” do to my chances?
For an essential criterion, partial usually means screened out, so we tell you before writing if your résumé does not cover it. For an asset criterion, an honest partial answer can still earn credit and is far safer than a claim your references would not back.
How do you find the numbers?
From what you send: your résumé, old performance reviews, project reports, the budget line you worked under. We ask for the figure, not the adjective. If a number does not exist we use dates and scale, never an invented count.
Can you answer all the questions on my poster?
Up to 8 screening questions, essential and asset, on one poster for C$79. If a poster has more than 8, we write the essentials first and tell you which assets are left.
How fast do the answers come back?
Within 1 day of payment, by email, with the one-page screener’s checklist as a cover sheet. Late means a refund. One free revision if a question changed or a fact was wrong. You paste the answers into GC Jobs and submit the application yourself.
